What are the Clone Wars
By admin | December 3, 2009
When George Luca created the science fiction story of Start Wars, the Clone Wars were just a series of intra-galactic battles within the Star Wars story itself. While there is no mention of the conflict in the first Star Wars film, it was not introduced until Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977).
There were no details about these Clone Wars and the only reference to clones were slightly mentioned in the story. The Clone Wars account for some of the major campaigns while the events and stories continue to be found in reading books and the ever popular video games.
When thousands of star systems seceded from the Galactic Republic while forming the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Clone Wars were the results of this movement.
The very first battle is started on the planet Geonosis with the Republic’s clone army. These battles were led by Jedi generals who fought the Separatists’ battle droids. During this event the war quickly spreads throughout the galaxy finally reaching Coruscant, the capital of the Republic. However the Clone Wars end right after the Great Jedi Purge.
